Aqua
Aqua is an NFT marketplace built specifically for gaming assets, enabling players to buy, sell, and trade in-game items as NFTs. It integrates blockchain technology, providing gamers and developers with true ownership and liquidity of digital collectibles. Aqua partners closely with Web3 games, offering custom storefronts, API integrations, and marketplaces tailored to unique in-game economies. Over the course of a year, we collaborated with the Aqua team to shape their platform. Lea Schwegler led the design work, developing intuitive new ways for users to browse, visualize, and purchase gaming collectibles, integrated seamlessly with multiple crypto wallets. Throughout the project, I managed and mentored Lea, supporting her growth—from initial ideation and synthesizing feedback to confidently presenting her design solutions.
